Vivien trained at the Royal Ballet for 8 years .She was chosen to represent the Royal Ballet at the Paris Opera School.

Following a career in classical ballet, Vivien moved into contemporary dance and physical theatre where she performed worldwide with some of the most ground breaking choreographers and directors including: Lloyd Newson DV8 physical Theatre, Michael Clark, Rui Horta, Mark Baldwin, Fabien Prioville and Simone Benmussa.

Vivien is widely respected as a teacher nationally and internationally, teaching companies such as DV8, Wayne Mc Gregor, Carte Blanche, Skanes Dance Theatre, Phoenix Dance Theatre, Dance, National Company Wales, Michael Clark Co, Augsburg Ballet and Grotowski Institute.

Vocational teaching includes P.A.R.T.S in Brussels, London School of Contemporary Dance, Northern school of Contemporary Dance.

Vivien is currently teaching classical ballet to our Phoenix Academy and Youth Group, as well as supporting our educational work.
