THE MAKING OF ‘INNER GODS’ DOCUMENTARY

Inner Gods is a film made with community and local artists to tell the story of self-reflection, mental health, conflict, love, addiction and hope.

The making of Inner Gods documentary charts the work behind the scenes and the impact on cast members.

Inner Gods was filmed in Gateshead and is a reflection of the effects of the Covid pandemic, the death of George Floyd and the Black Lives Matter movement. It touches on the social and political impact of these events in a short 15-minute dance film.

The diverse northern-based cast are from multi-disciplinary art forms, both professional and community based. It was accepted into the Sunderland Shorts and Exeter Dance International Film Festivals.

The Inner Gods film can be viewed on our Vimeo channel HERE.
