GATEWAY Studio have teamed up with the prestigious Northern School of Contemporary Dance to launch a new and exclusive NSCD+ programme.
The partnership will nurture young talent through extra-curricular, out-of-school-hours classes for young people passionate about dance and movement. It aims to offer possible routes for progression to Higher Education for those keen to pursue a career in the arts.
Students receive a strong basic background in contemporary technique, develop their creative skills, and learn key performance skills.
Who is it for?
Students between the ages of 13 & 17 with a keen interest in dance.
Students completing the programme receive a recognised certificate of completion from NSCD.

Commencing in September, classes will be held on Monday and Wednesday evenings, from 5:30–7:00pm.

Including a full-day Masterclass once a term in a complementary dance style, taught by guest industry professionals.
The weekly classes will focus on developing both contemporary and classical technique.
In addition to the regular training, the cost of the programme includes two theatre visits per year to experience live performances and a branded hoody to wear with pride!
The cost of the programme is £870 per year, with payment options available in half terms or full terms.
Bursaries are available to support families for whom cost may be a consideration, so that no young dancer misses out on this opportunity.
