Gateway JUNIORS Group-Jesmond

Our Gateway Juniors Group-Jesmond (GJG Jesmond), is a fun and unique dance class for NHSG Junior School students.

This dance class focuses on building and improving students technique through movement and storytelling and places emphasis on creativity and exploring a passion for dance.

GJG Jesmond is suited for children with any level of experience and provides a strong foundation for our youth programmes. Take a look at the Gateway Youth Dance Company to further your child’s dance training.

TERM DATES 2026 - 2027

Autumn Term 1: 7 September - 13 October 2026 (6 weeks)

Autumn Term 2: 2 November - 11 December 2026 (6 weeks)

Spring 1: 11 January - 12 February 2026 (5 weeks)

Spring 2: 22 February - 25 March 2026 (5 weeks)

Summer 1: 19 April - 21 May 2026 (5 weeks)

Summer 2: 7 June - 9 July 2026 (5 weeks)

*please note that the dates above are for your reference, and as this is a termly booking, you will automatically be signing your child up to each class through the schools website*

Monday

3:45pm - 4:30pm: Reception & Year 1

4:30pm - 5:30pm: Year 5 & 6

Dancers will:

  • Build and improve technique through movement and storytelling.

  • Explore their passion for dance.

  • Explore personal creativity.
